What We Do
The Oregon Startup Center, previously Oregon Technology Business Center (OTBC), serves many types of business startups in many sectors: technology, consumer products, manufacturing, bioscience, travel services and food production—and companies located across the state including rural areas.
Our mission is to train, mentor, invest in, and help grow Oregon startups. We partner with local communities, angel investors, service providers, and economic development officials in Oregon and local government—all to benefit startup businesses. This effort creates innovations and community wealth and serves the economies, cultural needs, and aspirations of our communities.

Acclaimed Programs
The Oregon Startup Center offers the highest-acclaimed startup mentoring in the state (according to a study by Portland State University), plus Oregon’s most advanced startup curriculum—our Virtual Incubation Program. Entrepreneurs work alongside other startups and small businesses that are experiencing similar challenges. Our companies always find ways to help each other through contacts and advice.
The Connections
The Oregon Startup Center provides access to potential partners, investors, co-founders, board members, and business service providers. Our mission is to assist startups of all types in customer discovery, financial literacy, investment readiness, and scaling for success.
