Jim McCreight who has been with the Oregon Startup Center (formally Oregon Technology Center) since 2014 has announced he will be retiring as the Executive Director no later than June 30, 2025.
Prior to serving as the Executive Director, McCreight served on the board of directors for 4 years. McCreight worked with previous Executive Director Steve Morris to start and build the Beaverton Startup Challenge and its Westside Startup Funds over the past ten years which has recruited angel investors to invest in 63 startup companies who have gone on to raise over $110 million in additional capital.
McCreight said the OSC board will begin accepting applications for the Executive Director position at this time. Interested applicants should send a letter of interest and resume to Jmccreight@oregonstartupcenter.org
The application period will remain open until finalists are determined.
